What to watch on TV tonight: Wednesday

This is the telly everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

Ireland’s Youngest Grandparents: True Lives (Virgin Media One, 10pm)

The first episode of a two-part observational documentary following young grandparents across Ireland as they discover whether it’s a nightmare or a blessing to watch your child follow in your footsteps by becoming a young parent. Tonight, the grandparents discuss the pure joy of having a grandchild while you have the youth and energy to enjoy it.

DIY SOS: Grenfell (BBC One, 9pm)

Nick Knowles takes his DIY SOS team to Grenfell in this episode, to take on their biggest and longest build to date. Over the course of two episodes, this series will follow the team as they build a new home for the Dale Youth Boxing Club, with the aid of large construction companies, generous suppliers and volunteers. The boxing club takes on anyone who wants to train and has been helping youngsters in the area for 50 years. It was the starting place of James de Gale’s career, which led to an Olympic gold medal in Beijing.

Finné (TG4, 9.30pm)

Documentary series following Martin Conmey as he revisits his wrongful conviction for the manslaughter of Una Lynskey in 1971 and his subsequent fight to clear his name. When Martin’s neighbour Una Lynskey went missing in Ratoath, Co. Meath, Martin and his two friends were chief suspects. They were convicted of manslaughter in 1972 and Martin served three years in prison. It wasn’t until he saw the Guildford Four released from prison in 1989 that he decided to start a 25-year-long campaign to clear his name.

Everybody’s talking about… Coleen Nolan’s appearance on This Morning following the Kim Woodburn row on Loose Women.

You might recall the ructions on an episode of Loose Women last week, when Kim Woodburn was invited onto national TV and humiliated by a panel of women who insisted they brought her there to resolve an ongoing row between herself and Coleen Nolan since they appeared on Celebrity Big Brother.

Now, Coleen Nolan’s been breaking down on This Morning, saying she wished she could go back in time and undo everything that happened during that episode of Loose Women.

I honestly, genuinely thought that she was coming on to make amends. That’s what I was told was going to happen, and we were going to make a laugh of it, making amends.

None of us wanted to see that. I don’t like to see that, I don’t like to see anybody in that much distress, as she was in the end.

Interesting, considering the fact that Coleen was smirking through the entire conversation, but sure look.
